The school provides the opportunity for each individual child to grow and develop in their own way according to their own attributes and learning style.
Children treated as individuals.
Consistency in teaching methods and ethos.
Children enjoy going.
Good experienced staff. … well behaved children.
Low numbers. High attainment. Good discipline.
A happy environment with quality teaching in modern, pleasant, safe surroundings.
It has small friendly atmosphere where children feel secure, conducive to learning.
Excellent values are taught. Good moral leadership.
Sense of community and development of awareness and responsibility within this community
A well kept and well run school, with good teaching staff
Being a small school, any problems don’t go unnoticed. All the children know each other so there isn’t bullying. All the teachers know all of the children.
Small size helps build a sense of community and close bonds with children of different ages and not just own immediate age range/class. Closer, longer relationships with individual teachers is also good.
The school treats my child as an individual and she is taught to her individual abilities. The school facilitate her greed for information and keep her busy rather than holding her back with her year group.
My child is developing self -confidence and enthusiasm in all aspects of learning.
The school maintains a high standard and the teachers are helpful and informative.
This small school gives each child opportunities to shine and individual attention. It allows them to develop at their own pace and avoids the heavy peer pressure that makes them ‘grow up’ too fast in larger schools.
Nurturing environment where each individual child can progress with confidence – I don’t believe this is possible in a very large or even average sized school, particularly at infant/primary level.
Family atmosphere – the way children look out for each other.
The fact that the children are happy here and receiving an excellent education.
