Each year, in early May, the national press likes to get everyone wound up about how stressful a time it is for year 6 (and year 2) pupils. At Hackthorn, we have alway prided ourselves on being different, and this is no exception.
Our year 6 pupils actually look forward to ‘Toast Week’ as it is one of those great school traditions which has been handed down through the years, and has come to represent one of those rites of passage which says “you’ve made it to the top of the school”.
As you can see from the pictures, the week seemed to go down rather well with this year’s group. Everyone does their best, and we’re all proud of them for that!.
